Root Canal Therapy - There is nothing quite like nature. When possible, we try our best to save your natural teeth
Getting to the root of the problem
Root canal therapy is a very common dental procedure that is used to save teeth when the nerve inside the tooth has become irreversibly inflamed or infected due to decay or trauma. If untreated, infection can progress to the point where the tooth may be lost.
Root canal therapy involves three stages. These stages involve removal of the infected nerve, disinfection of the tooth and sealing off the disinfected area. Because teeth that have had root canal therapy are more brittle, they are usually restored with a porcelain crown to provide adequate reinforcement.
